发现简史：

2000年12月6日，俄罗斯核研究联合研究所和美国加州劳伦斯利弗莫尔国家实验室共同宣布发现了该元素。由Yuri Oganessian、Vladimir Utyonkov和Kenton Moody领衔的研究团队通过48Ca轰击248Cm得到了Lv-292。
